The Silent Wayfarer

I gazed around,

Yearning to see the world's expanse—mountains, rivers, the sea!

I longed to create, to paint, to shape,

I wished to immerse myself in the essence of creation,

Filled to the brim with the tide of expectations.

But I forgot the one to whom these sights were meant—

My fellow traveller, walking beside me,

With empty hands and weary feet,

Who knows the call of this path,

Who understands where it begins and where it ends,

When the momentum of this journey shall cease.

In the fleeting currents of time, this night,

The one who seeks shelter near me,

Is none but the companion who walks beside.
